Nevada's Lawyers was started in 2017 by a former attorney from a National AMLAW200 firm who wanted to bring the experience and expertise of lawyers formally only available to large corporations and businesses to individuals and smaller businesses in Nevada.

Allison R. Schmidt, Esq. has been a resident of Nevada since 2004. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York - University at Albany in 2003 at the age of 20, she went on to graduate Cum Laude from UNLV Law School in 2007, receiving 5 CALI awards for high achievement. Before starting Nevada's Lawyers, Ms. Schmidt worked at an AMLAW 200 firm as an attorney for the largest banks and servicers in the country, including Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Nationstar/Mr. Cooper, Bank of New York-Mellon, JP Morgan Chase, PennyMac and many others. Ms. Schmidt also has experience working for some of the county's largest insurance carriers on personal injury and premises liability cases. Ms. Schmidt has published articles in trade magazines related to foreclosure and lending issues, and has worked on hundreds of appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
